Sumatra — Wet-Hulled, Deeply Earthy

From the Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan cooperative in Aceh, Takengon, at 1,100–1,600M, Tim Tim, Typica, Ateng, Onan Ganjang, and Jember varieties are processed using Giling Basah — wet-hulling, a method unique to Sumatra. The beans are hulled while still wet, creating the distinctly earthy, syrupy body and dark chocolate, dried fruit complexity this origin is known for. Medium acidity, long lingering finish. Flame-Tuned roasting amplifies the depth without adding bitterness.
